Glodean Champion is the CEO & Founder of Champion Consulting. Much like a unicorn, Glodean possesses highly desirable skills that are difficult to find in one person! That's what makes her exceptional at what she does. She is a Six Sigma Black Belt (SSBB), Project Management Professional (PMP), with an MFA in Writing from California College of the Arts and over 30-year’s business experience and 10+ years as an adjunct professor and group facilitator. She’s also a Certified Extreme Leadership Facilitator!
Glodean has a proven track record of success developing and leading highly visible multi-million-dollar business initiatives. She is an expert in Lean Six Sigma methodologies, an excellent communicator, and team champion; leveraging her team-building and leadership expertise to coach cross-functional teams and senior executives. She has facilitated 50+ planning and development workshops, change management, team building, and strategic planning sessions.
In the span of her career, Glodean has combined her strategic and organizational planning expertise with her unique and interactive facilitation techniques to assist organizations like Bayer Pharmaceuticals, City & County of San Francisco, Kaiser Permanente, City of Chicago Housing and Urban Development, City of Chicago, State of Illinois Department of Employment Security, Enterprise Recovery Systems, and ZAG Technical Services. She was an adjunct professor at Columbia College, Chicago State University, and various organizations in the San Francisco and Chicagoland area, teaching courses in Project Management, Business Writing, Critical Thinking, and Research and Creative Writing. This vast array of experience has developed Glodean into the dynamic business transformation and continuous improvement leader she is today cultivating courage and building confidence through love, servant leadership, and a good dose of humor and fun.
Glodean’s goal for Champion Consulting is to eliminate the politics and "status quo" in organizations and transform ordinary people, processes, and practices into extraordinary ones! She believes it's really easy to be ordinary, most anyone can do it without any energy at all. But, it's the extraordinary organizations that are innovative, cultivate a culture of change, and nurture managers into leaders.
When she’s not working to transform the business world, she is also a published shorty-story writer and essayist currently seeking agents to publish her first novel, Salmon Croquettes. She lives on Del Monte Beach in Monterey, CA and can be found most mornings walking her adorable Tibetan Terrier, Tashi, along the shoreline, giving gratitude for the beauty of her expansive backyard.
